ReactHQ is looking for Student Ambassadors to lead ReactHQ’s campaigns and events in their universities and communities. The ReactHQ Student Ambassadorship Program (RECAP) will be for one year and will create awareness about React and contribute to the development of technology leaders in Africa.
As a ReactHQ Student Ambassador, you are expected (of course) to understand what the ReactHQ Fellowship is all about.
You will work with the ReactHQ team to tailor program initiatives to campus-specific opportunities.
Some of your responsibilities as Student Ambassador would be to:
Invest 20 hours monthly in ReactHQ-related initiatives and activities
Plan four (4) ReactHQ events over a period of 12 months (1 per quarter)
Create a ReactHQ listserve for your university
Attain a deep understanding of ReactHQ and our programs
Act as liaison between ReactHQ and other communities on and off-campus
And if you’re wondering what’s in it for you, this is what you get:
Preparation for leadership roles
Potential for an internship with ReactHQ, based on performance
Attend ReactHQ Bootcamp sessions for free
Participate in ReactHQ events
Access to branded ReactHQ merchandise
Significant marketing experience
Jumpstart your professional career
